We’ve all felt it. That soul-crushing feeling the morning after a night of round-buying and succumbing to calls of 'go on, just one more'. You do the calculations swiftly in your head and quickly decide it’s simply not worth checking the old bank balance. Such is the nature of drinking in London, because it doesn’t come cheap, friends. Sadly, we’re no longer surprised when every cocktail on the menu surpasses the £10 mark, and have become resigned to the fact that a pint ofbitter will set you back six quid, more or less. £7 if you're somewhere particularly smart.
